A beautiful English 19th century mahogany "what-not" shelf or dumb waiter. What a gorgeous Georgian piece of furniture that absolutely glows with patina! Graceful from each of the thin trays of mahogany down to the reflexed legs terminating in brass castors. Each tray is inlaid with boxwood, as is each leg. Well turned and elegant stems between each tray. An unusual piece. Not meant to hold cupcakes at a 6 year old's birthday party.....Yes, it is wonky (but solid!), yes it is delicate - but wow!
