A Pair of Antique 18th Century George II Brass Push-Lever Candlesticks

Shipping calculated at checkout.

A great pair of 18th century candlesticks. Finding a matching set of George II brass with the original push-lever mechanisms still intact is becoming a rare treat!

They have that heavy, honest feel of early Georgian metalwork—cast solid, not the thin, hollow stuff you see later on. The wear on the brass tells the story of 200 years of use. They’re perfect for someone who wants authentic period lighting to have a cozy night by the fire! The openings of the sticks are a bit narrow and will require trimming most taper candles a bit to get to fit. I do it all the time!
