An antique Chinese porcelain Famille Rose style teapot. A 19th century piece. Skilled painting and lovely gilding. This piece originally would have had wire handles to hold and pour with. The decoration shows a procession of royals atop a foo dog, with attendants following. The top has an attendant painted in the center! Lovely and is perfect for that English country house look!

Condition

This had been made into a lamp, but all lamp fixings have been removed. See wear to enamel, and gold gilding. Also a spider crack. Overall a lovely shelf piece and excellent Chinese porcelain.
