A very good English 19th century pine chest of drawers. Loads of patina on this stunning piece. "Scumbled furniture" refers to pieces finished using a scumbling technique, which applies a translucent layer of glaze over a base coat to create depth, texture, and an aged or antique appearance. Matching wooden knob hardware adorns the front. 2 over 4 drawer configuration. Stands on subtle bracket feet. Solid. Drawers slide nicely. Dovetail construction. An heirloom piece that is extremely solid and ready to use!
