A lovely antique ebonized bookcase cabinet or hutch. Nice worn finish. The top portion of this piece has 2 glass doors that open to reveal ample shelving. The lower cupboard has two doors that open for plenty of additional storage. Stands on a solid plinth base. Strong and sturdy in joint and ready for use! Key and tassel "fits" in to the keyhole, but is mainly for looks AND to assist in opening the doors on bottom. The top must be attached to the base for security, hardware/screws NOT included. Imported from England.
