An 18th-century Style French Faience Vase or Flowerpot

There is a real honesty to the glaze on this 18th-century style faience. The hand-painted motifs have that loose, slightly irregular charm that you only get from a painter’s brush, giving it a much more soulful feel than modern transfers. It’s got a nice weight to it, too—perfectly suited for a mantle display or actually put to use as a substantial flowerpot.
