Antique Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Ginger Jar Kangxi Four-Character Mark Late Qing

A vibrant and well-proportioned Chinese porcelain ginger jar decorated in the famille verte palette, finely enameled with a continuous figural scene. The composition shows a dynamic courtyard setting, with two playful boys running as an elder scholar or official gestures sternly, possibly a narrative from Chinese folklore or drama. The top shoulder features a striking lattice and flower panel band, repeated with rhythmic colour around the foot rim. The jar is unglazed at the foot with a red Kangxi mark (康熙年製), though likely made during the 19th century in tribute to earlier styles. Imported from England.
