A charming, rustic and worn ebonized English country sideboard or buffet c1890. Might be used as a desk, but the apron is a bit low (24” is standard). A waxed painted surface with wear in all the right places. Solid wooden knob hardware and a good plinth base. 9 drawer configuration. A "dog kennel" center with door.

Condition: scratches, dents, marks, stains on top, stains in drawers, splits, cracks, possibly replaced hardware, possibly reattached hardware, worn spots, discoloration, historical repairs, solid and very usable - beautiful patina!
