The top is detachable from the bottom for ease of transport. A charming useful and very unique piece. Dovetail drawer construction. This is a very heavy and large piece of furniture! Strong and sturdy in joint and ready for use. Top must be secured to the base with existing screws. A very special piece. Imported from England.
